Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against League Two side Colchester United in the third round of the 2019/20 Carabao Cup.
The game, which will be held in Colchester, is only of two third round fixtures that pits League Two opposition against a Premier League one (Chelsea v Grimsby/Macclesfield being the other).
Colchester upset Crystal Palace in the second round, beating the Eagles 5-4 on penalties after the two sides had finished 0-0 at the end of normal time. The U’s had beaten fellow League Two side Swindon in the first round of the competition (3-0).
