By | February 6, 2018

Former Everton and Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has been officially appointed as manager of the Dutch football team. Koeman has effectively been on a sabbatical for the last three months after being sacked by Everton and succeed Dick Advocaat, who was shown the door after the Dutch surprisingly failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, another disappointment for the Oranje after also failing to make it to Euro 2016.

Koeman has a contract till the 2022 World Cup (four and a half year deal) and his first match as Dutch boss will be a friendly against England in March. His first aim will be to ensure the Dutch qualify for Euro 2020.
